a sort of vacation

its official school is out and i couldnt be happier. this means that there will be a lot more time devoted to the blog and to god's word. i hope that everyone has a great summer vacation and let me know if you need prayer or just want to hang out. i will playing the role of taxi driver for all of those in my house who work so i am on a "sort of vacation." talk to ya later guys!!!

Ahem....let me make it official.

School is out!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more homework or tests or exams or finals or boring classes or boring teachers!!! Just three in a half (I heard we don't have to go back until after Labor Day) months of glorious, warm, swimming vacation. YAY! Everyone have a good vacation, and keep in touch, okay?

hot, hot, hot

it is getting hot, hot, hot here in the ozarks. i am not suprised since this winter was unusually warm. i will let you in on one thing, i will be found by the pool this summer. sun tans are cool!!!! this week has been crazy and next week will be even worse, but god will bring us through it. i hope that everyone is doing all right and i am praying for you always and just let me know if you need special prayers. have a great weekend!!!!

one week left

Good luck with finals!!! School is almost out, just seven more days of books and numbers!!! I will praying for everyone!!! Next year I am going to be a senior and I am excited!!! Kickapoo High School will never be the same. Love ya and have a great week!!!

Graduation

My brother in Christ, Jake is graduating next Monday, May 22,2006 from Kickapoo High School. The graduation will be at the Missouri State Student Center where all of the basketball games are held just off of John Q. Hammons Expressway. It starts at 5p.m. if you know him you should come out and show that you are proud of him. I hope to see you there.

It's Been A While

It might not seem like it to you, but i haven't been on the blog for a while. Many things have happened, on Friday I worked my last shift at the clothing store, Aeropostale and I feel somewhat relieved. This might be hard to believe, but some jobs are a burden and once you give it to God to take care of, you feel a thousand times better. Yesterday, I went down to my Grandma's farm and we had Mother's Day with her. We had really good "small-town" pizza and salad and then I went out and played some basketball(my favorite hobby) with the basketball goal that my grandfather built for me. We later went through baby pictures and other family photos. On the way home I realized how much I miss my small home town. When we left and moved to Springfield, I couldn't wait to leave and now I long so much to go back to the peaceful place that I call home. God gives us a realization that we take for granted things that we have until they are gone. I am just thankful that I got to go back yesterday and spend time with my family and praise and worship God every single moment.

Youth Night at My Church(revised)

Our youth group will be putting on the evening services on May 21st. Everyone is welcome to come and tell all of your friends. We will be going to Steak and Shake afterwards for fellowship. If you need directions or a ride just let me know, it starts at 6 p.m.
